15.1 The supreme authority of the Federation shall be vested in the General Meeting subject to the provisions of the Act., Rules and Byelaws. 15.2 (1) General Meeting will consist of the following :- (i) The Chairman of the each affiliated Milk Union enrolled as ordinary member; (ii) All nominated member of the Board 15.2 (2) The Chairman of the Board of Directors shall preside over the General Meeting. In case of his absence, the meeting will elect a Chairman from amongst the elected members of the Board present to preside over the meeting. 15.2 (3) The General Meeting shall be called within a period of 6 months from the close of financial year. This be shall be called Annual General Meeting. 15.4 A Special General Meeting may be called at any time by a majority vote of the Board of Directors, or on requisition in writing by at least 1/5th of the members of the Federation or on requisition of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies. 15.5 The first meeting of members after registration shall have the same powers as are given to the Annual General Meeting.
