Section 9

Subordinate officers and servants

To aid the Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner in carrying out the provisions of this Act, the State Government may appoint inspectors and other sub-ordinate officers and servants with such designations, and assign to them such powers, duties functions under this Act or the rules, made thereunder or under other enactment for the time being in force as may be deemed necessary. Provided that the State Government may be general or special order and subject to such conditions as it deems fit to impose, delegate to the Commissioner and the Assistant Commissioner the power to appoint such sub-ordinate officers and servants as may be specified in the order.
