On the date of the commencement of the application of the provisions of Chapter V, VI, VII, VIII, IX and X of this Act to any class of public trusts (hereinafter referred to as the said date), the provisions of any of the laws specified in the Schedule which might be applicable to any public trust belonging to such class shall cease to apply thereto: Provided that such cessation shall not in any way effect - (o) any right, title, interest, obligation or liability already acquired, accrued or incurred before the said date; (p) any legal proceeding or remedy in respect of such right, title, interest, obligation of liability; or (q) anything duly done or suffered before the said date.
