(1) A village guard shall be an honorary worker and shall be deemed to be a Public Servant within the meaning of the Section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Act No. 45 of 1860). (2) 7 A village guard may be paid such honorarium and out of pocket expenses as may be determined by the State Government.
