Constitution of Standing Committee and appointment of Ad-hoc Committees by the Executive Council.- Subject to the provisions of this Act and the regulations made in this behalf, the Executive Council may, by resolution, constitute such Standing Committees or appoint Ad-hoc Committees for such purposes and with such powers as the Executive Council may think fit for exercising any power or discharging any function of the University or for inquiring into, reporting or advising upon any matter relating to the University. ∗12. Reservation of posts and seats.- The Executive Council may be regulation provide for reservation in the admission to undergraduate and post graduate students in the University exempting super specialty courses, such number of seats for schedule casts and schedule tribes students as may be provided in the Regulation.
