(1) The following shall entail disqualifications for membership of a Municipality, namely:& (a) electoral offences referred to in section 28, (b) corrupt practices specified in section 29. (2) The period of such disqualification shall be six years from the date of the finding of the District Judge as to such corrupt practice or from the date of conviction for such offence, as the case may be.
