Nomination of members in default of election. - If any electoral body referred to in sub-section (1) of Section 6 fails, by such date as may be prescribed, to elect the requisite number of member or members which it is entitled to elect, the State Government shall fill up the vacancy or vacancies by nomination of a person or persons qualified to be elected by the particular electoral body concerned. ______________________________________________________________________
