The Dean.- (1) There shall be a Dean of the Institute, whom the Board shall appoint from amongst the senior Professors of the Institute. He shall hold office for three years and may be eligible for re-appointment. (2) The Dean shall assist the Director in academic affairs of the Institute and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed by the regulations.
