University Librarian – (1) There shall be appointed a University Librarian by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Baord. (2) The Librarian shall deal with all the matters concerning University library including the purchase, cataloguing and maintenance of books, journals, periodicals, reports, etc. (3) The Librarian shall be responsible for the operation of the University library and shall work under the control of the Vice-Chancellor. (4) The salary, allowances and other conditions of service of the Librarian shall be such as may be specified in the Ordinances of the University.
