Resignation. – (1) In the case of permanent employment, a teacher or an employee may resign from service after giving three months' notice or paying three month's salary in lieu of notice to the appointing [44] authority. In the case of employment not being permanent, one month's notice or one month's salary shall be sufficient. (2) The resignation shall take effect from the date on which it is accepted by the appointing authority.
