Composition and function of faculties: – (1) There shall be such faculties in the University as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (2) Each faculty shall consist of the followings:- (a) Dean of the Faculty – Chairman; (b) University Professors of the subjects assigned to the Faculty; (c) Chairmen of the Board of Studies in the faculty; (d) One Post-graduate College Principal and one Post graduate Department Head in each subject of the faculty from affiliated colleges, nominated by the State Government; (e) Two External experts nominated by the Academic Council. (3) Faculty shall perform such functions as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
