(1) The State Government shall appoint an Accounts Officer who shall be an officer of the Rajasthan Accounts Service to supervise and control the finances and accounts of the Board. He shall work under the overall supervision of the Secretary of the Board. (2) He shall- (i) be responsible for the preparation of the Budget and for the presentation thereof to the Board; (ii) administer the Fund of the Board; (iii) supervise and control the expenditure of the Board; and (iv) ensure that no expenditure not authorized in the Budget is incurred by the Board.
