(1) Such officers, servants and other persons as may be authorised by the corporation or the State Government in this behalf, may at any time, after giving a land-holder reasonable notice, enter upon his land holding and carry out surveys and investigations and all such works and things as may be necessary in connection with execution of any project. (2) If the corporation continues to occupy a land-holding for the purpose of execution of works for a period beyond three months, the corporation shall compensate the concerned land-holder for any loss of income from the land-holding which he would have otherwise not suffered. Such compensation shall be determined in an enquiry to be held by the Collector after giving both the corporation and the landholder an opportunity of being heard.
