Whoever uses or allows to use, the water supplied for domestic purposes, for non-domestic purposes shall on conviction be punished with simple imprisonment which shall not be less than one month but which may extend to one year or with a daily fine of rupees two hundred per day upto a maximum of rupees one thousand.
