(1)The Board may, with the prior approval of the Government, appoint such number of officers and employees as it considers necessary for the performance of its duties and functions. (2) The salaries and allowances payable to and other conditions of service of the officers and employees shall be such as may be determined by regulations made under this Act. (3) The Government may, in consultation with the Board, appoint any Government officer or employee on deputation to the Board. (4) The Board with the prior approval of the Government may also engage such experts and technical persons on contract basis as it considers necessary to carry out its functions under this Act.
