Co-ordination of teaching and research, integration of functions and curricula and services.- (1) In consultation with the appropriate officers of the University, the Vice- Chancellor shall be responsible for taking such steps as may be necessary for the full co- ordination of teaching and research activities of the University . (2) The Vice-Chancellor shall be responsible for working through the appropriate officers and staff of the University, to see that there is an appropriate inter-relation in the different curricula and courses offered in the different Faculties of the University so as to avoid unnecessary duplication of functions between Faculties of the University and provide the students with the best course offerings and Faculty contacts feasible within the University’s resources and talents.
