(1) Where the whole of a village entered as such in the revenue records has been declared as a Gramdan village, all common lands in such village shall, with effect from the date of the constitution of the Gram Sabha therefor, vest in such Gram Sabha, subject to the rights therein, if any, of the residents of the other neighbouring villages. (2) Where a part of a village entered as such in the revenue records is declared as a Gramdan village, the State Government may from time to time, by notification in the Official Gazette vest in the Gram Sabha such common lands in such villages as may be specified in the notification.
