(1) Subject to such control and restrictions as may be prescribed by regulations, a Gram Sabha may constitute- (a) other standing committees for exercising such of the powers and discharging such of the duties and functions of the Gram Sabha as may be prescribed by regulations; (b) ad-hoc committees for inquiring into or reporting and advising on any matter which the Gram Sabha may refer to them. (2) The Committees referred to in sub section (1) shall be constituted in the manner prescribed by regulations and may be dissolved or reconstituted for such reasons and in such manner as may be prescribed by regulations.
