Application.- This Act shall not apply- (a) to the essential commodities specified in the Schedule to the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (Central Act No. 10 of 1955); (b) to the products of any industry where the control of such industry by the Union is declared by Parliament by law to be expedient in the public interest, and imported goods of the same kind as such products; (c) to the products of any industry declared by Parliament by law to be necessary for the purpose of defence or for the prosecution of war; and 67¼20½ jktLFkku jkt&i=] Qjojh 7] 2014 Hkkx 4 ¼d½ 20 (d) to the goods in respect of regulation and control of manufacture, sale, supply and distribution of which Parliament has power to make law by virtue of the entries of List I of the Seventh Schedule to the Constitution.
