Composition and functions of the faculties. - (1) There shall be such faculties in the University as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (2) Each faculty shall consist of the following:- (a) Dean of the Faculty - Chairman; (b) University professors of the subjects assigned to the Faculty; (c) Chairmen of the Boards of Studies in the faculty; (d) one Post-graduate College Principal and one Postgraduate Department Head in each subject of the Faculty from affiliated colleges, nominated by the State Government; and Hkkx 4 ¼d½ jktLFkku jkt&i=] vDVwcj 17] 2012 41¼ 57½ 57 (e) two External experts nominated by the Academic Council; (3) The Faculty shall perform such functions as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
