(1) The Punjab Allotment of State Government Land Act, 2016 (Punjab Act No.54 of 2016) shall stand repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal- (i) any order passed or anything done or any action taken in pursuance of any provision of the repealed Act shall be deemed to have been made, done or taken under the provisions of the Act so repealed; and (ii) any proceeding pending under the provisions of the repealed Act shall continue in the same manner as if that Act had not been repealed.
