The State Government may, by notification, direct that any power or function, which may be exercised or performed by it or by the competent authority under this Act or the rules made thereunder may, in relation to such matters and subject to such conditions, if any, be also exercised or performed by any officer or authority subordinate to it, as may be specified in that notification.
