Power to make surveys or contribute towards their cost. - The trust may- (a) cause a survey of any land to be made whenever it considers that a sur- vey is necessary or expedient for carrying out any of the purposes of this Act, or (b) contribute towards the cost of any such survey made by any other local authority.
