(1). ‘The Chairman shall be the Chancellor of the University and Inthe absence ofthe Visitor the Chancellor shall preside over the convocation ofthe University (2). The Chancetloeshall be the Charman ofthe Governing Boxy 8nd he shall approve all appointments, nominations, removal, suspensions and reinstatements of the employees and officers of the University either suo-moto of on the recommendation of the authority eoncerned of the University, (3). The Chancetior may amend or evoke any decision taken by Authority or officer ofthe University and may exercise his powers, either Suo-moto or otherwise todo all things to facilitate the smooth functioning of the Universi (4) The Chancellor shall have the povier to do all such other fanctions as may be required to doin luheranceto the objects ofthe University and any matter incidental thereto and the decision taken by the Chancellor shall be final and binding on all concerned ofthe University (5). 1h, in the opinion of the Chancellor, any decision of any officer or authority or the University is beyond the powers conferred under this Actor the statutes or the ordinances or regulations ori ikely tobe prejudicial to the interests of the University, he shall ask such officer or authority to revise its decision within a period of fifteen days and incase the officer or authority refuses to revise sich decision, wholly or partly or fails to take any decision within a period of fiflen days, the decision of the Chancellor shall be final The Chanel Tee Chance 6 PUNIAB GOVT.
