Effect of marriage between person domiciled and one not domiciled in India. -If a person whose domicile is in 1*[India] marries in 1*[India] a person whose domicile is in 1*[India], neither party acquires by the marriage any rights in respect of any property of the other party not comprised in a settlement made previous to the Collected by the All India Christian Council, www.christiancouncil.in Page 6 of 123 marriage, which he or she would not acquire thereby if both were domiciled in 1*[India] at the time of the marriage.
