(1) The non-official members shall be selected by a Search Committee to be headed by the Chief Secretary, Punjab and consisting of the following, namely:- (a) Administrative Secretary (Higher Education); (b) Vice-Chancellor of the Punjabi University, Patiala; (c) Vice-Chancellor of the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar; and (d) two persons of eminence in the field of Higher Education to be nominated by the State Government.
