Power of Government to extend the provision of Act. – (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 3 or section 4, Government may by notification declare that any class of establishments or persons specified therein shall not be exempt from the operation of such provisions of this Act as may be specified in the notification and that provisions of this Act specified such notification shall apply to such class of establishments or persons as the case may be. (2) Every notification made under sub-section (1) shall as soon as possible after it is made, be laid before the Vboth Houses of the State Legislature.
