(1; In exercising the powers and functions conferred on it power of by or under this Act. the Arbitration Council, the Co-operative Tribunal, the ““" liquidator, deciding a dispute under sections 58, 60 and 72, shall have all the powers of a Civil Court while trying a suit under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (5 of 1908), in respect of the following matters, namely = vl (a) summoning and enforcing the attendance of ary person and examining him on oath ; (b) requiring the discover, and picduction of ary cocument (c) proof of facts by affidavits ; and (d) issuing commissions for examination of witnesses. (2) Inthe case of an affidavit, any officer appointed by the Registrar, the Arbitration Council, the Co-operative ‘Tribunal or the Liquidator, as the case may be, may administer the oath to the deponent, OVT GAZ.
