Short title, extent and commencement.-(1) This Act may be called the Punjab Resumption of Jagirs Act, 1957. (2) It extends to l[the territories specified in sub-section ( I ) of section 5 of the Punjab Reorganisation Act, 19661. (3) It shall come into force at once.
