(1) The Government may, by notification, make rules for carrying Power to out the purposes of this Act. make rulss (2) Every rule made under this section shall be laid, as soon as may be’ after itis made, before the House of the State Legislature while it is in Session for a total period of ten days which may be comprised in one session Repeal. 120 PUNJAB GOVT GAZ. (EXTRA,), NOV, 17, 1978 (KARTIKA 26, 1900 SAKA) or in two or more successive sessions, and if, before the expiry cf the session in which it is so laid or the successive session aforesaid, the Fouse agrees hat the rule in making any modification in the rule or the House agrees should not be made, the rule shall thereafter have effect only ins ich modified form or be of no effect, as the case may be ; s0 however, thit any such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of any. thing previously done or omitted to be done under that rule.
