In the House of the People to be constituted after the commencement of this Act, there shall be allotted,— (a) nine seats to the State of Haryana of which two seats shall be reserved for the Scheduled Castes; (b) thirteen seats to the State of Punjab of which three seats shall be reserved for the Scheduled Castes; (c) six seats to the Union territory of Himachal Pradesh of which one seat shall be reserved for the Scheduled Castes; and (d) one seat to the Union territory of Chandigarh which shall form one Parliamentary constituency.
