Power of Authority to declare its intention to make scheme. - (1) The Authority may by resolution declare its intention to make scheme in respect of any planning area or any part of the planning area. (2) Not later than thirty days from the date of declaration of intention to make a scheme (hereinafter referred to as the declaration), the Authority shall publish the declaration in the Official Gazette and in such other manner as may be prescribed and despatch a copy thereof together with a copy of the plan showing the area to be included in the scheme to the State Government and the Board and also to the local authority in whose jurisdiction the land under the proposed scheme falls. (3) A copy of the plan referred to in sub-section (2) shall be open to the inspection of the public at all reasonable hours at the head office of the Authority.
