Approval of the State Government. - As soon as may be, after the receipt of the draft Comprehensive Master Plan under sub-section (3) of section 73 but not later than such time as may be prescribed, the State Government may, either approve the draft Comprehensive Master Plan or may approve it with such modifications as it may consider necessary or may return the draft Comprehensive Master Plan to direct the Designated Planning Agency to modify the plan or to prepare a fresh plan in accordance with such conditions as the State Government may impose in this behalf.
