Power to compel attendance of witnesses. - For the purpose of this Act, an officer appointed under sub-section (1) of section 102 as an Arbitrator or the Tribunal of Appeal may summon or enforce the attendance of witnesses including the parties interested or any of them and compel them to give evidence and compel the production of documents by the same means, and, as far as possible, in the same manner as is provided in the case of a civil Court by the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
