In the Punjab State (Group-D) Service Rules, 1963 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in rule 5, for clause (b), the following clause shall be substituted, namely : - “(b) is not less than 18 years and not more than 37 years of age on the first day of January of the year immediately preceding the last date, fixed for submission of applications by the Board or the Department, as the case may be;"
