(1) This Act may be called the Punjab Privately Managed Recognised Schools Employees (Security of Service) Act, 1979. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Punjab. 1 For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see Punjab Government Gazette (Extraordinary), 1979, page, 1494. Short title, extent and commencement. (3) It shall come into force1 on such date as the State Government may by notification appoint.
