(1) The Punjab Jail Canteen Rules, 2016 and all other relevant orders, notifications and instructions issued in this behalf, are hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding anything such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the rules, orders, notifications and instructions so repealed, which are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
