All members, officers and employees of the Board when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or any rule or regulation made there under, shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and of clause (c) of section 2 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
