(1) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to any of the provisions of this Act, the State Government may, by order published in the Official Gazette, make such provisions or take such measures, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, as may appear to be necessary or expedient for removing the difficulty. (2) The State Government may make an order under sub-section (1) to have effect from any date not earlier than the date of commencement of this Act. Protection of action taken in good faith.
