(1) The prisoners shall be provided appropriate opportunity for enhancing their educational qualification, and for library facilities in a prison, in such manner, as may be prescribed. (2) Vocational training and skill development programs shall be provided to prisoners as part of correctional service. These programmes may be diverse in nature to facilitate rehabilitation of the prisoners, as may be prescribed. (3) The officer-in-charge may organize spiritual, cultural, and recreational programmes for the prisoners, as may be prescribed.
