(1) The provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder, shall have effect, notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in any other law for the time being in force or in any agreement or other instrument having effect by virtue of any other law. (2) Save as provided in sub-section (1), the provisions of this Act, shall be in addition to, and not in de rogation of, any other law for the time being in force.
