In the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in section 2,— (i) after clause (a), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:— ‘(aa) ‘‘prescribed’’ means prescribed by rules made under this Act and the expression ‘‘prescribe’’ shall be construed accordingly;’; (ii) after clause (c), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:— ‘(d) “undue advantage” means any gratification whatever, other than legal remuneration.
