1[(1) No person shall use or cause to be used any recycled non- biodegradable plastic carry bag or container with or without containing organic pigments, plasticizers, lubricants and stabilizers, which are liable to cause poisoning of food for the purpose of storing, carrying or packing any item of food.] 2[(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sections 3, 4, 5 and sub-section (1) of section 7, the State Government, may by notification in the Official Gazette, completely prohibit to manufacture, stock, distribute, recycle, sale or use of plastic carry bags and container made of virgin or recycled plastic and plastic items having one time use such as disposable plastic cups, tumblers, spoons, forks and straws.]
