REPEAL AND SAVINO: - The Pariala -84: East Punjab States Union Townships Development Board Act, 1954 (President's Act 3 of 1954), is hereby repealed but notwithstanding such repeal anything done or any action taken in the exercise of any power conferred by ur wider the said 1\ ( ieluding things ! tcen .aad actions deemed to have been validly taken under the provision to section 47 of the said Act) shall be deemed to have been done or taken in exercise of the powers conferred by or under this Act, as if this Act was in force on the day on which such thing was done or action was taken,
