Resignation of members of Zila Parishad.-- A member of a Zila Parishad may resign his membership in writing under his hand addressed to the Director and his seat shall become vacant on the expiry of fifteen clear days from the date of such resignation, unless within the said period THE PUNJAB PANCHAYATI RAJ ACT. 1994 117 of fifteen days, he withdraws such resignation by writing under his hand addressed to the Director.
