Duration of Panchayat Samiti.-- (1) Every Panchayat Samiti, save as otherwise provided in this Act, shall continue for a term_of five years from the date appointed for its first meeting referred to in section no longer. (2) No amendment of any law for the time being on force shall have the effect of causing dissolution of Panchayat Samiti which is functioning immediately before such amendment, till the expiration of duration specified in sub-section (1). (3) The election to constitute a Panchayat Samiti shall be completed:--
