If the State Government is of the opinion that any new mandi township has been fully developed in accordance with the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder, it may, by notification in the official gazette, include such new mandi township within the local limits of any local authority from such date as may be specified in the notification, and thereupon the provisions of this Act shall cease to apply to such new mandi township, and the provisions of the law for the time being in force relating to such local authority shall apply in relation thereto.
