Resignation incase of election from more than one constituency.- (1) Where a candidate has been elected from more than one constituency, he may resign from membership of the municipality from all but one constituency within a period of fifteen days from the date of notification 5(of his elections results] in the Official Gazette: (2) The resignations shall be addressed in writing to the Commission and Secretary to Government, Punjab, Department of local Government, so as to reach within the time specified in sub rule (I). __________________________________________________
