(1) This Act may be called the Punjab Municipal Corporation Short title and (Second Amendment) Act, 2014. (2) The provisions of sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9 shall be deemed to have come into force on and with effect from the first day of April, 2014, and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force on and with effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
