New premises not to be occupied without arrangement for water sup- 80 Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976, Section 186 ply. - It shall not be lawful for the owner of any premises which may be newly constructed or reconstructed within any portion of the City, in respect of which the Commissioner has given public notice under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of sec- tion 92 to occupy it or cause or permit it to be occupied until he has obtained a certificate from the Commissioner that there is provided within, or within a rea- sonable distance of, the premises such supply of wholesome water as appears to the Commissioner to be adequate for the person who may occupy, or be employed in such premises for their domestic purposes.
